This Madness Called Love - "Emma" Debut recording
With James Morrison

In the post war years of the forties songwriter Johhny Mercer penned and sang what became a number one hit with the up beat swinging tune “Accentuate The Positive”(written for the motion picture Here Come The Waves). The song was just what was needed. An antidote to the tough times and a beacon of hope and postiveness.

More recently, in Australia, the song was adopted for a brand advertising campaign for MBF which has proven to be a great success and re activated a whole fresh enthusiasm for this remarkably infectious song.

The folk at MBF were overwhelmed with the response to the use of this classic song and have been inspired to instigate a conceptual album, drawing in 14 other like minded, classic songs under the banner of ACCENTUATE THE POSITIVE.

The album is being produced by the production company SONG ZU who made the new version for the campaign and the recordings feature singer/musician Mark Rivett who sang the song so well in the commercial.

Now more than ever the world needs to think and act positively and this album will prove the ideal soundtrack.

The look and feel of the album is not a nostalgia trip but has been fashioned not unlike other ‘lifestyle’ concept albums so successful in the market today.
