SUMMARY:A few ( more ) of my favourite things
DESCRIPTION:After a sold-out debut performance in 2025 that left her audience wanting more of her “Favourite Things\,” acclaimed Australian vocalist Emma Pask returns to the Foundry Theatre for another unforgettable evening of music\, storytelling and swing. \nJoined by her world-class trio\, Emma brings her signature warmth\, wit and effortless musicality to a handpicked collection of songs that have shaped her remarkable career and lifelong love of music. From jazz standards and latin rhythms to tender ballads and unexpected favourites\, every song is delivered with emotional depth and magnetic charm. \nEmma’s professional journey began in her teens when she was discovered by legendary Australian multi-instrumentalist James Morrison\, with whom she has maintained a close and prolific collaboration ever since. Known for her exceptional use of rhythm\, Emma brings an innate sense of swing\, groove\, and phrasing to every performance\, whether she’s delivering an emotive ballad or an energetic jazz standard. Her rhythmic precision\, and ability to blend syncopation with emotion\, adds great depth to her vocal artistry making each performance a unique experience. \nSet within the intimate surrounds of the Foundry Theatre at Sydney Lyric\, this special concert offers audiences the rare opportunity to experience Emma up close — celebrating timeless music and an enduring artistry that continues to inspire her. \nElegant\, heartfelt and deeply personal\, this is more than a concert — it’s an invitation into Emma’s musical world. \n\n\nIf you witnessed Emma’s 2025 show\, expect the same unforgettable evening but with new songs and a new set list.
